The Irreversible Flow of Time

The flowers bloom and dance in the sun,

But with the fall, their beauty's undone.

They wither away, their time now done,

And spring arrives, but their time is gone.

People come and go, and some we'll never see,

Their absence leaves an ache that cannot be relieved.

Their names we speak, hoping they'll hear and believe,

But they do not return, they're forever free.

Our eyes can deceive, leading us astray,

Blinding us to the truth, and making us sway.

Suspicion creeps in, turning our trust to gray,

And love may depart, forever to stay.

The morning brings hope, and the night fades away,

Time ticks on, unstoppable, with every passing day.

In a fraction of a second, life can change in every way,

Moments lost forever, never to come back to play.

The destination is elusive, forever out of sight,

Changing with every turn, in the journey of life.

The past events and memories, once bright,

Are now gone, leaving us with nothing but strife.

Let us cherish each moment, and hold them dear,

For time waits for no one, and the end is near.

Let us embrace life, with all its beauty and fear,

And make each moment count, before it disappears.

For the flow of time is irreversible, and forever it will be,

A reminder to cherish every moment, with joy and glee.

Let us live fully, and with love and kindness, for eternity,

For that is the only way to live, and to truly be free.
